Firowafascht  

Every first Friday of the summer months, the Place de la Mairie in Gueberschwihr becomes the scene of a festive event: the Firowa Fascht, Alsatian-style afterwork evenings organized by the Syndicat des Vignerons de Gueberschwihr. From 6:00 pm, locals, tourists and wine lovers gather in a convivial atmosphere to celebrate the start of the weekend. The village's winegrowers will be on hand to introduce you to their vintages, for tasting by the glass or bottle. A pizza truck will provide catering. Musical entertainment provides a relaxed, festive atmosphere. Tables and benches are set up in the square to share a good time with friends or family, in the heart of the village and its traditions.
