Warm accompanist and sparkling improviser, accordionist Philippe Borecek joins forces with the Petits Chanteurs de Saint André to offer an eclectic repertoire, travelling from Eastern Europe to South America, with the complicity of pianist Geneviève Philipp.
The breath of the accordion supports the expressiveness of the singing in the classical pieces, brings an authentic and committed character to the Slavonic works, and evokes the sound of the bandoneon in the works inspired by the tango.
The accents of the piano add tone and freshness to the luminous voices of the choristers. An exotic concert that brings together two talented musicians and fifty highly motivated young people.
