Played nearly 250 times since 2010, and made into a film in 2012, Le prénom is already a comedy classic!

Dashing forty-something Vincent, slightly full of himself, is about to become a father. Invited to dinner at his sister and brother-in-law's house, he meets up with Claude, his childhood friend. His young wife Anna is so late that he decides to reveal the name of their future child on his own. The announcement causes general consternation... and the atmosphere deteriorates as the evening progresses. Rancour, minor humiliations and major revelations come to the surface.

To perform Matthieu Delaporte and Alexandre de la Patellière's play, the theatre company “Les Bredele & Co” has called on five actors who met at the Comédie de Colmar: Sébastien, Thomas, Mathieu, Julie and Clémence are looking forward to playing the roles in your town that were previously played by Patrick Bruel, Charles Berling, Guillaume de Tonquédec, Valérie Benguigui and Judith El Zein.
