Lindy Hop dance introduction by the Hopla Swing association
Sunday 21 September at the Theatre 2.30pm-4pm
Lindy Hop is a social swing dance of African-American origin, very joyful and lively, practised at swing dances since the 1920s and which quickly gained popularity thanks to the proliferation of Big Bands in the 1930s and 1940s. An introduction for all ages is offered before the swing dance, and no prior experience is necessary.
Places are limited and must be reserved in advance (it is recommended that you register as a pair so that you have a dance partner). The price is per person.
