European Museum Night: Dominican Library
The library will be open to the public until 10pm for its usual services: reading, research and loans/returns (reading room), registration and free tours of the museum and building.
Temporary exhibition (7 April-17 May). Through a selection of works, explore some of the scientific and technical advances that have made it possible to measure time. From Petrus Apian to Christiaan Huygens to Sébastian Münster, these scientists transformed our perception of time and shaped the systems we use today. Each document presented here bears witness to a quest for precision and a desire to master the course of time.
‘La Classe, l'oeuvre!’
7 works from the temporary exhibition and museum tour are presented in podcast format and explained to the public by secondary school students from the Lycée Bartholdi (Jean Rodé's pupils)
Presentation of the new museography for young people aged 7-12. New labels and room cards produced by a final year class from the Lycée Camille Sée in partnership with the Colmar library.
Inter-museum treasure hunt
Explore Colmar and its museums by answering riddles! There will be a stop on the museum trail - a treasure hunt aimed at young people aged 6 to 15. Colmar bibliotheque@colmar.fr
