Add to my calendar 05-07-2025 11:00 05-07-2025 Europe/Paris Colmar International Festival - Family concert: Peter and the Wolf Julie Depardieu tells the story of Peter and the Wolf
Mulhouse Symphony Orchestra
Conductor : Katharina Morin
reciter : Julie Depardieu
Spectators are invited to dive or dive back into the cult symphonic tale of Peter and the Wolf by Sergei Prokofiev. The composer addresses children directly, introducing them to the instruments of the orchestra. A few violin notes are enough to take you back to your childhood. When you hear Peter's main theme, it's hard not to imagine the disobedient child romping through the forest.
The Orchestre National de Mulhouse will be performing this musical and educational masterpiece under the direction of Katharina Morin, a young German conductor who won third prize and the Generation Opera Prize at the prestigious La Maestra competition organised by the Philharmonie de Paris.
The actress Julie Depardieu will be the narrator. A chance for the audience to see the actress, nominated for the Victoires de la musique classique 2025, again. Program
Sergei Prokofiev, Peter and the Wolf
Concert supported by: JOUE CLUB
