Opening hours :
On Mondays the castle opens at 10.30 am. January, February, November and December from 9:30 to 12:30 and from 13:45 to 16:00. March and October from 9:30 to 12:30 and from 13:45 to 16:30. April, May and September from 9:30 to 12:30 and 14:00 to 17:00. From 10 July to 31 August from 9:30 to 12:30 and from 14:00 to 17:30. Online booking is compulsory. Closed on 1 January, 1 May and 25 December.

Descriptif lieu

The purchase of tickets online is compulsory for individuals (except for animations and activities which are marked "compulsory booking").

All sanitary standards are implemented to welcome you in the best conditions.
At your own pace, freely follow the tour circuit, discover its furniture and weapons collections, its architecture and above all its 900 years of history.

A visit document in 14 languages presenting the history, architecture and restoration of the monument is available for downloading from the château's website.

Guided tours for individuals are offered within the limits of available places at 11.15, 11.30, 12.15, 15.15, 16.15 and 16.30. Information is available at the ticket office.
Dramatised visits with a character from the Middle Ages presenting his life in a 15th century mountain fortress are also offered during the school holidays at 10.30 and 14.15. Subject to availability, information is available at the ticket office.

How to buy :
Tickets for individual visitors can only be purchased via our online ticket office. Visitors' slots are set up.

One-way tour.
The tour consists of 300 steps.
Duration: approx. 1 hour 15 minutes.

How to visit :
- Wearing a mask is compulsory from the age of 11. Visitors are asked to come with their masks.
- Installation of hydro-alcoholic gel dispensers
- Respect for physical distancing and mandatory barrier gestures
- Introduction of a one-way visit to avoid crossings.
- A limited number of people per time slot

- Admission fee for 6-17 year olds: 5€.
